Eleos or JotPsych, depending on whether your EHR stays
Eleos adds AI agents to your EHR, and its home and documentation pages list no e-prescribing. In JotPsych, prescribers send prescriptions through DoseSpot.

Eleos's home page, documentation page, and April 22, 2026 release, read October 3, 2026, list the Eleos column, and JotPsych's product guide lists the JotPsych column. If JotPsych replaces your EHR, your prescribers keep e-prescribing with EPCS (electronic prescribing of controlled substances), through DoseSpot.
Eleos, if your organization keeps its EHR
Choose Eleos if you want AI agents inside your current EHR. Eleos builds for community behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment, per eleos.health.
Eleos's documentation page lists psychiatry among the services it documents, in person or by telehealth. Eleos's April 22, 2026 release names a Coding Agent that recommends codes in the session and a Live Quality Assist Agent that checks every note before sign-off.
Eleos's home page, documentation page, and release don't list e-prescribing or online booking, so your prescribers would keep sending prescriptions the way they do today.
JotPsych, if your organization replaces its EHR
Choose JotPsych if you want to replace your EHR. Set the follow-up visit type once. The visit type carries the medication management template, 99214, and the 90833 add-on.
JotPsych drafts the note from the visit, and JotAudit checks it against the codes billed before the prescriber signs. Your prescribers send prescriptions through DoseSpot, which opens in a new tab from the patient's chart with the patient already selected. Controlled prescriptions add authentication when they're sent.
Your patients can book online.
Count the steps to send one prescription
Ask one of your prescribers to send a prescription the way they do today, and count each step and each screen. Then run the steps below in a JotPsych demo. Write both counts down.
1. In the patient's chart, open Medications and select Send Prescription.
2. DoseSpot opens in a new tab with the patient selected.
3. Check the pharmacy, then enter the medication, strength, directions, quantity, and refills.
4. Review it and send it, with any authentication DoseSpot asks for.
5. Check its status and pharmacy in DoseSpot.
JotPsych's product guide, read October 3, 2026, lists these steps for sending a prescription. Your staff can enter a prescription and save it as pending work, so the prescriber only reviews and sends it.
