Scan the QR code shown to the right with your iPhone camera app to download JotPsych by SmartScribe, our free companion recording app. Or, search for "JotPsych" in the Apple App Store.
Log in with the same credentials you used to establish your account online, to ensure your account syncs completed patient notes properly.

Select a relevant template, depending on the type of patient session. Feature note: custom templates are coming soon!
When you're ready to start recording, make sure you've enabled app microphone access and have received consent from your patient to record the interaction!
Title your patient note with something identifiable here so you know which recording this is when you're reviewing later on your computer.
Preparing to Record a Patient Session
When submitted, you'll be prompted to start a new note and view your recorded note on your computer.
If you have a short recording, you will get this confirmation message.
Submit the recording, or delete it and try again.
Try explaining a recent patient encounter. Stop recording when finished. Confirm to "End" the recording.
Title the Note and start Recording.
Visit the "Record" screen.

Here in the main navigation bar, you can go "home" to your dashboard (as shown here) or click "Notes" to view all of your Unreviewed and Archived Notes.
